Extra-Curricular Activities & Athletics

Basketball season has just ended. We had two teams with 30 students participating and 6 teacher coaches.  Each of the teams had a great season, both represented our school with great effort in the playoffs. Thank you to Mr. Denby, Mrs. Hunter, Ms. Fehst, Ms. Bruce, Ms. Jensen and Mr. Styles for working with our students.

Track and Field will begin soon.  Our school track meet will be held on April.  //. Students selected from this event will represent our school at the Zone track meet on May 6 at Hillside Stadium. Then athletes who qualify for Districts will compete on May 10.

After School Programs -  New sessions will begin as early as April 1st. Watch out for more details coming soon.

River City Squash Program is run by volunteer Dave Clutton. He picks up grade 4,5 & 6 students each Wednesdays, takes them to No Limits Fitness where the students learn and play the game of squash, and then they are driven home.  This is a free program offered to our students and we thank Dave for all his work with our students.
